Goal 4
Sector customers understand what information is available, know how to access it, and can use it in appropriate ways.

Achieving this goal means helping customers to work smarter, so that:

  • information is easy to search, easy to navigate, easy to find, and presented in a useful way
  • customers can access support structures such as contact centres when they need professional help
  • people have the skills and tools to capture, validate and process data at source
  • renewal procedures prevent data rust and decisions based on out-of-date information
  • institutions and others have access to comparative performance statistics

Promote use of information to measure the outcomes of education policies and make better decisions.
