The foundations promote the use of open standards for information sharing and exchange; that is, Open Data Standards and Open Source Software. In line with the Principles, agency working parties will take a web-centric approach to creating the artefacts listed above. They will develop, publish and maintain all standards using an Open Process and web-based collaboration software, such as that used to create the strategy.
