Key indicatorsThe 2003 PBRF results show that, of research who had produced sufficient quality and quantity of output in the previous six years to be adequately assessed (i.e. rated ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’) almost half produced work of national or international standing. ![]() Distribution of research staff (in FTEs) rated ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ by the PBRF quality evaluation by rating 2003 External research earnings provides a measure of perceived quality and confidence in university-based research.
