The Terms of Reference set out reasons for creating an Architectural Framework, expected outcomes and the process by which the framework will be developed. They are the result of workshops held with Ministry of Education staff and are the starting point for wider sector consultation. They cover the following topics: Developing such a framework will enable better co-ordination of the various ICT initiatives currently under consideration. It will enable better interoperability between sector systems and improve interfaces at “touch points” within the sector and with other sectors. See also the Architecture definition. |
