The “Printable Version” link lets people with Adobe Acrobat (or any other tool that supports web page capture) create a PDF of the wiki. Instructions for Acrobat are:
- Click Printable Version (very important, otherwise, you get a lot of pages you don’t want, like the Page History and Edit Page views)
- Edit > Copy the url from the address line
- Start Adobe Acrobat (must be Acrobat, not just Acrobat Reader)
- Select Tools > Web Capture > Open Web Page…
- Edit > Paste the url you copied above
- Select Levels = however deep you want to go in the collection
- Check “Only get pages under same path” and “Stay on same server” boxes
- Make sure “Get Entire Site” is not selected
- Click Conversion Settings… and make sure the page is set to A4 portrait
- Click Download
This creates a printable form of the page collection you specify.
