From the Tertiary Wiki
This is the Wiki Wiki Web collaborative web site for the Tertiary Education Sector. Its focus is information and information-related issues.
It’s designed to make it easy for people in different agencies to have their say in an open manner. All you need is a web browser and to learn some simple Text Formatting Rules.
If you are new to wiki-based authoring, read the Wiki Help, then try out the Wiki Sandbox. This site includes some Special Features, such as te reo Māori support. See Why Choose Wiki for information on using wiki software for collaboration.
This site has recently been changed to support development of a wiki farm. This enables setting up seperate wiki fields for different projects. The fields share the same common PmWiki software, but allow for self contained areas for each project or set of projects.
Refer to the Wiki Farm page for a list of fields developed to date.
Development of draft e-learning standards for the tertiary education sector.
Currently, the Ministry of Education is seeking feedback on a document that provides an overview of existing and emerging standards for tertiary e-learning, and a draft set of recommendations for tertiary e-learning standards.
Visit the homepage for more information, to download the draft document, or to provide feedback.
The site operates a Neutral Point of View policy. The nature of such a collaborative site is that it is a work in progress and as such does not constitute a formal statement of policy.
Where to Next discusses ideas for future developments of this site.
