Branding
We need to look into what is being done about branding for the new Ministry web infrastructure.
The major change required is to replace the Affinity logo with a version of the Ministry logo - such as used on the internal Ministry site:
or the external Ministry site:
We also need to think about colour schemes for groups that are more in line with Ministry colours. However, differentiating groups by colour scheme is something we would like to retain.
Standard navigational features
It would be worth having a set of standard navigational features for each group. These would enable users to move more easily around the groups and ensure consistent look and feel. These could be described in a TIWiki help page on how to set up a group.
Features include:
- all groups have a home page that includes a short explanation of the project and provides links to the trail pages
- there should be an ‘about’ page that describes the project purpose and aims in greater detail
- there should be a ‘contact’ page which includes information on who to contact about the project and the site
- all groups should have a link to a help page - minimum should be a direct link to the TIWiki help page - but groups can also develop their own help material related to their site, as well as linking to the TIWiki help page
- all pages should be associated to at least one trail page (which could be the home page)
- groups should include a web-menu with links to the major trail pages, home, ‘about’, ‘contact’ and help pages
