Additional Items
Minutes
- We agreed that we are happy with the changes to the formatting applied to a comment submitted through the Comment Box?.
- We are happy to base the other comment boxes (with title title, and without author) on existing code used with other parts of the wiki.
- The reset button can be removed from Comment Box?.
For the skin design:
- We all agree that we don’t want any search box on the Education Lite Skin?.
- We feel that the design is still to boxy looking - it has too many strong horiztonal and vertical lines.
For the colour schemes:
- We like the way the colour schemes work
- We like the suggestions you made for what should be able to be change, but would also add Heading text/background colours to this.
Extra items
We discussed that the one of the current problems with using the comment box and not allowing (or expecting) some users to edit the wiki is that comments are left at the bottom of the page. This is a change of paradigm for those using the current track changes method of leaving feedback in certain parts of the document.
The group agreed that one work around was to have smaller pages. David mentioned that he recalled John talking about a way of having draft vs. final versions of pages.
We were all generally unsure of the best solution for this problem.
